Ok, I know of very few success stories of people who fixed transistors/diodes/resistor/capacitors. When a transistor goes out on a motherboard, it has very little chance of ever working again even if you do try and replace it.
motherboard in the monitor will not work again because that transistor is out.
only way to fix that is call the company and get a replacement motherboard. Otherwise, I believe you'll have to get a new monitor
