Ok David the same price your paying for the Tilt plan $30 for data is the same price you would pay for the iPhone plan! If you share the famly talk messages that will include the iPhone.
instead of all this cancel and resign if someone else on the account is eligible to upgrade you CAN use their upgrade to get the $199 price just advise the ATT or Apple rep your going to use the phone on your number.
no problem since its done all the time, you just need to let the reps know so they can put the correct data plan on the right phone.
