The shadow and the Dash 3g are both great phones in their own rights. I would personally point you in the direction of the dash as it has a bigger screen and also full 3g capability.
keyboard is solid and the phone is a good one. However when compared to the TP2, both phones pale in comparison. If you're considering getting the TP2 I would just go ahead and get that one and not worry about the other two.
only phone I would look at vs the TP2 based on your needs is the Blackberry 8900.
is an excellent, excellent phone and really the most easily comparable.
