I think it is actually the short code to either increase call quality by 30 percent, or decrease call quality, thus to prolong battery life.
not a “programming fault” etc.
It increases the battery time but decreases the quality of the call.
did you find out all these cool things? You are the king of all cell phone miracles! I saved the last list of stuff you put out there.
All this code does is enable half rate, which is a lower quality call, it doesn't do anything for the battery life at all. It's not really used in the UK much as the networks much prefer the better quality of using full rate, basically a cell that can take 14 voice calls at once with full rate could potentially have 28 half rate calls on it but the trade off between quality and quantity is considered too great.
